2010 Championships

The New York CYC Committee is proud that New York has been chosen as the host city for the 7th annual Continental Youth Championships. This cultural event will feature 150 teams, with players, male and female, ranging in age from 8 through 18 from around the US, Canada, London and Ireland competing in the popular traditional sports of Gaelic football, hurling and camogie. The four day extravaganza will take place in Eisenhower Park, Long Island and is expected to attract 3,000 participants and an additional 10,000 spectators. The weekend provides an opportunity for all involved in the Irish community to showcase our rich cultural heritage, promote our games, and extend hospitality to our visitors.
